What you get back

Your cattle leave here in better shape than they arrived.

Heavier Calves
More Pounds at Weaning

High-protein fescue and clover pasture grazed at 20-30 inches. Maximum nutrition in every bite. Calves gain on our grass — period.

Higher Preg Rates
Cows Breed Back

Thin cows don't breed. Our irrigated pasture puts condition on cows fast. Clients have seen preg rates jump from 50% to 98% after a season here.

Gentler Cattle
Easier to Handle

Moved every 1-3 days on horseback, through gates, down roads. Your cattle come back broke to horses and used to being handled.

The pasture

We buy raw farmground and build what nobody else has.

We specialize in buying undeveloped farmground and converting it into high-production irrigated pasture. Ground that starts as flood-irrigated farmland with 0-1% organic matter gets converted to center pivot irrigation, built into a fescue and clover mix from scratch, and pushed with 40+ inches of water annually.

The result is irrigated intensive pasture in a region where everyone else runs dryland. We graze year round. While their grass burns up in July, ours is 20-30 inches tall through October.

Your cattle aren't going to "summer pasture." They're going to the most productive ground in the county — managed like a business, not a hobby.

Forage mix

High-protein pasture your cattle won't find anywhere else.

Grasses (~50%)

Tall fescue, brome, and orchardgrass. Non-toxic varieties that put on weight without fescue toxicosis. Grazed at 20-30 inches for maximum intake per bite.

Legumes (~50%)

Red clover, white clover, alsike clover, and volunteer alfalfa. High protein, high digestibility. This is the mix that turns thin cows around and pushes calf gains.

40+ inches of irrigation on center pivots. Rain stops — pivots don't. Our pasture produces through drought when everyone else's is done.

How we manage

This isn't turn-out-and-forget. Every detail is managed.

Moved every 1-3 days to fresh pasture. Strip grazing on irrigated ground means your cattle always have the highest-quality forage in front of them. No overgrazing. No stale pasture.

Hot wire trained. Your cattle come back respecting electric fence. This alone saves you money on fencing for years.

Moved on horseback. Cattle are driven through gates, along roads, and between pastures regularly. They come back broke to horses and easy to handle.

Multi-species grazing. Your cattle graze alongside sheep and livestock guardian dogs. Sheep clean up what cattle leave. LGDs reduce predation on calves. Parasites break cycle between species.

Low death loss. LGDs on pasture 24/7, daily visual checks on every animal, and irrigated ground that doesn't have the hazards of rough rangeland.

Three rules

We're selective about who we work with. Here's why.

We're building long-term partnerships with serious cattlemen. These rules protect the pasture, the cattle, and the relationship.

No Heavy Cows

We charge per animal unit. 1,800-lb cows wreck irrigated ground and lower your ROI. Keep your herd moderate and profitable.

No Breechy Cattle

Wild cows that smash fences cost everyone. If your cattle can't be contained in hot wire after training, this isn't the right fit.

Pay on Time

We get that things slip. But chronic late payers face interest. We're running a business, not a charity. Pay on time and we'll take great care of your cattle.

Our mission is your profit.

High pregnancy rates. Heavier calves. High daily gains for stockers. Your job? Pay on time.
